COMMENT
Gabriel Alvarez organized paints with passion, every character that has drawn the territory you need to exercise their freedom. Many of his works are characterized by an almost obsessive profusion of small compartments, in which place a figure or a sign. The result is a grid that, in some paints, divide the surface to more than one hundred parts. The use of this composite structure it has become a hobby of creation, thanks to art, becomes in the permanence of its aesthetics that characterizes it. This organization applied to a single material enhances its significance. Gabriel Alvarez works with dyed sand bonded by caulking and sanding. So which builder builds support by raising a wall, going from coarse to fine plaster successive layers of color. Through a graffito made with tips of different sizes, scratch the surface to obtain in many cases, grading halftones that emerge between the layers of plaster. The special mortar attracts optimally due to this decision lightly textured. At the same time uses complementary colors achieve intuitive attention on the light color. Drawing the line is clear and denotes a particular care in the synthesis achieved.
